Great Exuma Island Yoga Vacations

The stay was a 4/5. There were a couple bugs found in the kitchen after a couple of days of stay. The amenities were well-shower was nice but pressure and hot water are not the best. The staff on property is very accommodating and helpful, quick to respond which was appreciated. Location is far walking distance from shops and dining unless you rent a car and taxis aren't cheap. However if you are wanting a quiet stay this is the place. Beach is literally outside back door and there is plenty of peace and serenity to gain here. This is not ideal for families, but couples and single travelers. I would not recommend for high maintenance travelers.

We love love love staying at Grand Isle. We jsut completed our second year in a row. The beach is stunning. The pool is right there. Everyone is so nice. We love the bars and hanging by the pool. Jumping back and forth between pool and beach is seamless. The staff is fantastic. We LOVE the Exumas and highly recommend. Some tips is that you have a full kitchen in your apartment so bring food when you go as the market is a taxi drive away and because it’s a remote island a lot of items they won’t have. We packed a bunch of non-perishables for the kids because eating out every day three meals a day gets very pricey. Breads and chips and oatmeal and tuna and Mac n cheese. Mayo. Granola bars. Mixed nuts. Pistachios. Etc. next year we will bring even more but it will be perishables that we will pack in a cooler and check it in.

Clean rooms staff was friendly. The beach was amazing

We were so sad leaving St. Francis! The staff made our trip so memorable! Mary helped us with daily plans and transport. She was able to book everything for us. Cha Cha was our personal water taxi driver who always had a smile on his face! The cooks and the servers( Dely, Alex,Quami, PJ) were amazing and made our stay enjoyable. We were looking for quiet and a laid back atmosphere. This was it! The Bennett’s will be back!
