The photos make it look perfect but it’s not. The area around is kinda sketchy but it is Jaco Beach. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and the main strip. The staff was the best part of the property. They were super friendly and the activities director was amazing. I would stay at this property again given the cost we paid vs other name brand hotels / properties. Overall I enjoyed our stay but it was because of the people that worked there. Sitting on loungers you never saw a server asking you if you want something. Inefficiencies in dining room as tables never cleaned off after first sitting. (345 reviews) When we pulled up to the security booth to access the property, the staff was very friendly, the grounds were immaculate. The condo was everything that we wanted to celebrate in for our 50th birthday, there was even a surprise birthday basket for me, and my sister. Paula, the host, had immediate communication with me. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen was there, the panoramic views from the ocean to the mountains on the wraparound deck were amazing. The property was so quiet. It was like we were the only people there it felt like we had the entire pool to our self during our stay and the beach was empty and felt like it was ours. Will definitely be coming back and staying here, and recommend this condo to anybody and everybody. In fact, one block away is the main street where all shopping, grocery stores, cafes and restaurants are so I was showing pictures and giving the condo information to anybody that would listen to me, lol. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!
