There was a small view of ocean but the location was perfect. The aircon in the bedrooms was worked great, however blankets would've been very nice. They were not provided and had to be bought. Beach access was great. Check in was confusing. People were supposed to meet us for check out, but never showed. But overall, a great home base. The plus...there was a pitcher of water in the fridge when we got there. Soooo appreciated. We did buy the condo a second pitcher and more ice cube trays.

The Bellafonte is a smaller boutique hotel a few minutes south of the airport. We spent a week in a 2 bedroom villa on the first floor. There is a small soaking pool and a private pier (which you can jump off and snorkel or swim).
Upon arrival we were provided a tour of the property and our bags were taken to the room for us. The windsock resort, next door, is an easy place for food, and the quality and cost is reasonable. All the staff and housekeeping was very helpful and they always made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay there again.

We booked a renovated deluxe oceanfront room for a week in August 2026.
Highlights of the resort were the friendly front desk, security, restaurant and bar staff, views, snorkeling directly from the resort, proximity to town, pools, comfortable beds and quality of the food at the restaurants.
Lowlights were the malfunctioning AC in our first assigned room (which was running but not cooling), the sewer smell and drain flies in the bathroom of our second assigned room (we killed at least 50 over 5 days) and the condition of the bathroom (for example mildew in the grout, loose toilet seat and rusty door stop). Overall, we give the resort 4 out of 5 stars for our stay.
