North Pacific Coast Waterpark Vacations

Very relaxed place, slightly older crowd, people are here for peace and quiet. There is a private beach better than those over-rated beaches at Playa Coco and and Playa Hermosa. There is a good pool and pool bar. Howler monkeys move through the trees and you can see them every day. The staff of young people were wonderful and very attentive and accommodating. Sergio, Greddy, the young women at the reception were wonderful. The breakfasts were very good. The food was fine, but it also was fun to go and eat out in nearby Hermosa (5 minute drive by Uber). There is no animation here so it is not ideal for kids. This was fine with us. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable place.

Beautiful villa to stay in, great touches and amenities. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had an enjoyable two week stay. Our fourth floor room had a beautiful oceanfront view. We enjoyed the buffets’ large variety of tasty food options. The Japanese and Steak restaurants were also good. Staff was friendly. The resort was clean including our room. The room was tired with a broken bathroom light switch, a noisy constantly running toilet, and worn furniture. Our key fob frequently did not work so we had it reset numerous times. The Riu Palace apparently will be undergoing a major renovation later this year. The ocean is swimmable with a beautiful beach. No cabanas or palapas for lounging in the shade on the beach. Nice pools. No quiet pool or a shaded area for lounging over looking the ocean. The loud music could be clearly heard at all pools. We had no issues accessing shaded pool loungers. We ended up spending time at the sister resort right next door resting on quiet shaded loungers over looking the ocean listening to the birds. Overall, I recommend staying at the resort.

We loved this place!! Small quiet resort with everything we needed. Friendly and efficient staff….great beach for sunrise and sunset walks..great food with amazing local fruit! We will definitely be back!
