Perfect for a chill overnight stay after flying into Malaga. Very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast and perfect location. And in room coffee machine which is not common in Spain!

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, helping with laundry and providing us with information of local restaurants/ activities. The sofa bed was a double, giving enough space for the three of us. The apartment’s location was ideal for walking around Malaga!

Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!!

From the narrow lanes of the old Malaga city center, the moment we stepped in to the building - we were impressed by the lobby of a cozy villa with a bright inner courtyard, wide staircase and tasteful decor. Our unit was the duplex on the top floor. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious apartment with high ceilings and cozy comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was ultra modern, the main bedroom had a super comfortable bed, the paintings and decor were very classy, the bathrooms were ultra modern and well equipped. A small staircase led up to the loft with a cozy smaller bedroom with a private bathroom and skylight/window. The hosts were super responsive via WhatsApp and promptly dealt with any issues or requests. Truly felt like an extremely well kept and superbly updated classic/historic apartment that felt like home rather than a hotel room. We knew right away that we were going to have a wonderful stay!

I recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything is amazing! The service, the pool, the spa, the rooms, the food, the kids club!!! We had an amazing time!

My mother and I stayed in June hoping for a relaxed holiday, and were disappointed at every turn. Check-in is 3pm, which is fair — but at 3pm a ten-person conference group descended and we were made to redo a check-in process we'd already completed, adding half an hour. The room looked fine but wasn't clean: prominent finger marks all over the bedroom mirror, still there after two days. It was only cleaned after I raised it, and even then not until the next day. Guest experience showed little sympathy. The Greek restaurant forgot our order entirely — four tables seated after us were served first — and only two of our three dishes ever arrived. The next night's Italian restaurant produced a €28 pizza barely bigger than a child's portion. Prices are extortionate for the quality. The pool blasts Ibiza music from 11am to 6pm, but that isn't the crowd staying there, and the staff treat a drinks order as an inconvenience. What tipped this to one star was the total absence of any apology or goodwill when we complained. My clear impression is that this hotel pours its energy into content creators on free stays, while paying guests come a distant second. I wouldn't recommend it, and we won't return.

I only wish there was a washer/dryer in the building.

Excellent support by all the team and a beautiful apartment. Staff jumped to respond to every need no matter how minor. Highly recommend the Santa Maria apartments and will be returning.
