(470 reviews) The hotel is in a very nice location. Excellent for watching fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Our family came here from north bay for this purpose. We booked a two queen water front room for watching new year’s fireworks. We specifically requested a room with views of the bay bridge (and paid accordingly). However, when we checked in, our room was facing the ferry terminal. The view of the bay bridge was totally blocked. When we asked the front desk, the gentleman told us that the fireworks will be at the ferry terminal, not the bay bridge, which is totally untrue. We ordered in-room dining in order to watch the fireworks from our window. Only find out it’s totally blocked! The hotel has certain European charm and is very clean. The room is quiet. The bed and bedding are comfortable. There are enough charging ports which is quite convenient. The staff at lobby are courteous and helpful. Room amenities were old and need maintenance. The towels were stacked on the under-the-sink shelf. There aren’t towel bars to hang our towels after use. The coffee maker is not working. Maybe that’s why coffee and tea bags in the cabinet were old and rumpled. The basin drains super slow. We checked in as three guests and were provided two sets of towels and robes. (1,001 reviews) This is my second visit to this hotel. Two years ago, when I visited here, it made such an impression on me that I came back again. So, for this time since I checked in at the lady's reception. She let me grab my luggage from the front mirror room by myself ( I left in the morning and came back at 3 p.m.for check-in). She opened the door for us and let me grab it. I feel that normally your service is more welcoming than this time. The room inside is old some cabinet is broken, the pillow is uncomfortable for sleep, and the important thing is that when I turn on the A/C or heat the air comes with a food smell all the room.
