(1,754 reviews) Some of the furniture with fake leather was very weathered and peeling. Overall my experience was good, although the morning I was checking out I noticed two additional charges billed to my credit card on file. I went to the front desk to find out what they were for, was told they were just authorizations and would fall off in a couple days and was provided with a receipt that didn’t show the charges billed to my card. A couple days later, they posted to my credit card rather than falling off, so I called the property to follow up again. Was told the charges were for the water bottles they leave in the room ($13 water bottles 😳) and the guy said they had already been refunded and the refunds posting to my account will depend on my bank. Hopefully they’ll post in the next few days. Also, I didn’t touch the water bottles. Even though there was no signage to tell you the cost of the waters, I figured the hotel would charge me for them, so I never even touched them. And sadly, it was just the little things. We had to call and request water, there was only one coffee cup and one coffee pod in our room for morning coffee, etc. However, the staff was amazing and attentive, the food was fantastic and the grounds couldn’t have been more beautiful. You know going into a Fairmont property that everything is going to be wildly overpriced but usually it’s not the thing you walk away from the experience thinking about. I guess better luck next time.
