Amazing place to get back to nature

Book this resort ! Yes it is expensive but the experience is first class! The staff are amazing and so very attentive, bar staff were amazing and attentive, food was top notch and our beach front villa amazing! Housekeeping came twice a day and really did a phenomenal job! Cauayan is top notch from pick up in El Nido to the return to El Nido . Spa ladies were great and our 2 hour massages so amazing! Resort offers free kayaking and mask and snorkels to use during your stay!

j'ai beaucoup apprécié la discrétion des gens qui vivent à cet endroit à l'écart du monde dans ce village situé en pleine nature entre la jungle et la mer de Chine. Le beauté du site rend le séjour difficile à quitter. Je ne recherche pas les 5 étoiles avec groom dans l'ascenseur et roome service 24/7, mais le calme et la sincérité. Il faut penser à prendre des bouteilles d'eau car l'eau vient de sources locales et notre organisme n'est pas habitué.

A good, clean hotel with excellent service! There is a beautiful view of the beach! Breakfast was good, but dinner was not tasty. The only downside was the lack of a restroom near the reception—very strange for a hotel of this class, and it was quite inconvenient having to walk so far to use the facilities. Another major issue was that the air in the restroom was unbreathable due to an excessive amount of chemical air freshener; the chemical odor was so strong it stung the eyes—it felt like one could actually suffer from toxic poisoning from the fumes! Everything else was good.

Our stay at Bahala Na Villas was truly wonderful! The staff were attentive, friendly, and so easy to communicate with—just a WhatsApp message away. The only downside is that it’s a little farther from town proper, around 20 minutes away, although it’s conveniently only about 10 minutes from the airport. Thankfully, they have their own tricycle service that we could easily message whenever we needed a ride, which made getting around very convenient. I’d also like to commend Ate Mimi and Kuya Mac for going above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. They truly made our stay extra special. One small incident actually made me appreciate the place even more. I paid a ₱2,000 cash deposit at check-in and completely forgot about it when we checked out. Since a different person assisted us at checkout, it was understandably overlooked. I only remembered when we were already at the airport. I messaged them, and they immediately returned the deposit through GCash without any issue. They could have easily ignored it, but they didn’t—and that really says a lot about their honesty and integrity. El Nido was magical, and Bahala Na Villas made the experience even more special. The location was a small trade-off, but the hospitality and overall experience more than made up for it. Definitely recommend!
