Carriacou Island Scuba Diving Vacations

If you have ever been to Cancun, and loved the service from the staff. Don't go to Grenada. The island itself is a sorry crumbling infrastructure I would expect in a much poorer country. Coyaba Beach resort gets 2 stars..one for the best beach I have ever walked on, and 2 for the best ocean swim I've ever had. The stuff they had nothing to do with ! This place is well passed its lifetime. The Garden was beautiful, but the food sucked..bad. NO INDOOR DINING ! 12 degrees from the equator...I get it...hot and humid...BUT give us a place to have a meal where we are not sweating profusely the whole time, we started to go to the ONE restaurant, make a plate, and take it to our room for some comfort. The food was awful, we actually had to order local delivery for a meal, when we paid for All Inclusive. We felt very unwelcome from the unsmiling staff, we got incorrect instructions about times and directions to places on the compound. They didn't even have a simple map of the property for us to get around. My wife has limited mobility, so this was an important A-to-B request. Shower and water pressure were equivalent to a low-end RV shower I once rented. Please...find another place..Grand Anse Beach is Amazing ! But this resort is not. Additionally, the Grenadian people hate us, every single interaction, from the co-op bank for ridiculous money-changing, to a simple shop at the IGA, was problematic and frustrating. Be quiet, acquiescent and smiling...doesn't matter to them.

My stay was absolutely lovely, just far too short! It truly feels like a secret hideaway, perfect for comfort, peace, and relaxation. The pool, breathtaking views, delicious food, and wonderful staff were all amazing. And the rooms? OMG so scenic and beautifully designed! I can always appreciate thoughtful architecture and attention to detail. Nina gave me a 10/10 massage, and Jen was an absolute doll so warm and welcoming. Overall, such a beautiful experience, and I’ll definitely make it a point to visit anytime I’m in Grenada. ❤️

You only expect so much when traveling to an island country. The people are very nice and helpful. The suite had a gorgeous view. The room was nice and clean but minimally appointed. We ate off property so I have no Op

Absolutely gorgeous location, cute rooms, helpful staff, yummy breakfast, and great food/drinks at the restaurant and bar. The pools were wonderful and the spa was relaxing. 10/10. Also has very cute cats

Arrived at the hotel at 3:26pm Friday 9/25 Room was not ready after 2 hour wait 5:26pm. Went to my friend’s room to wait for my room to be ready after an hour the room still was not ready. Kept calling front desk from my friends room & nobody answered after they did in fact inform me that they will call me when my room is ready which they did not, I had to excessively call the front desk which ended up with me being continuously transferred with no conclusion to my problem. Finally get my room and the room number was changed unbeknownst to me in which the key did not work and the guy who drives the buggy (gavaughn) had to let me in. I booked a single king sized BED room because it was just me and they proceeded to tell me there was no single beds available (after my original booking since March 2026 simply said 1 king sized bed ocean front view). The front desk girl Shekira informed me that there is no single bed room available so i have to accept a room i did not want which included two full sized beds. I in fact did not accept the doubled bedded room and proceeded to head back to the front desk in which another worker who was very helpful decided he would check on my issue. I eventually got the room that was assigned to me from the beginning but then my room phone was not working up until the day before i was due to leave which was 4 days later. They also did not clean my room for 2 whole days which was unfortunate. Let’s not forget i finally got to my room Friday at 8pm!
