Good location. Clean, and well maintained property. Will highly recommend this property.

The property was lovely. Our room had a few issues: an extremely loud, ticking air conditioner that for some of my guests couldn't sleep for others it was fine. The coffee maker did not come with a filter and when we requested assistance, it never resulted in fixing the issue. Parking was challenging we had not realized there would be a concert throughout the weekend. Otherwise, pool area was wonderful and the grounds themselves a treat. Would suggest when walking to the statue go with another person, I ended being observed by a homeless person hiding in the bush just next to the statue, which was unnerving.

The property was very inviting, staff in the bar area were hit and miss on attentiveness and overall pleasant attitudes/moods. The beds and pillows were the worse pillows are very low quality reminded me of the $2.99 pillows on black friday at Walmart. My cleaning person was on point. My room never got dirt but what ever did I was clean when I got back to my room and she was very nice. The fire pit and pool areas are very comfortable and relaxing. The vibe was overall relaxing until you hear the dog's barking. If I had known dogs were allowed I would not have booked this location. I love dogs but not on my vacation.

It was too crowded!! We stayed in the St. Elena Jr. Suite and the cleaning staff never came to clean, nor did anyone pick up the dirty dishes we left outside our room. The hotel had a wedding, so the adults’ pool was impossible to use (it was basically a people soup), and the spa was completely full. The steakhouse is in another building, so you need to walk there, about 3 blocks away. Maybe it was just not a good weekend to stay (because of the wedding), but right now I’m not interested in returning.

It is a beautiful property with magnificent grounds. The staff and dining options are great. Highly recommend.

It was wonderful all around

We booked a room with a view of the bay. However, the view was obstructed by scaffolding due to ongoing renovations. We had to pay more to upgrade to a room with no scaffolding. There should have been a notice that the views were obstructed when we first booked the room.

Overall, We enjoyed our stay. It was an unusually warm weekend in the Bay Area (80’s) but the a/c worked. We had a ground floor view of the harbor from building 1. It was nice to watch the sunset. Other than noises from the hallway, the rooms were quiet - no stomping from above or neighbors. Negatives: building 1 rooms on harbor side don’t have a patio, just a stoop in the grass so you may be enjoying the view with your neighbor. While it’s mostly nice and clean some things are not remodeled - like the sliding glass door was a Janky setup and the mini fridge was a little beat up and there were limited wall outlets (made up by outlets in the lamp, but that’s a lot of things plugged in).
