Loved our stay here, close to everything and we even got a little fishing in on our trip. Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here.

Our single night stay at Outbound Stowe was good. As it was a quick overnight stay we didn't utilize some of the features of the hotel. The restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, but there are many nearby. The pool area was very nice though the water was cold in August, so we spent more time in the hot tub.
They have connected the hotel to the Stowe Recreational Path that runs along the river with a beautiful bridge nearby. And there is more hiking available across the street at Cady Hill Forest. You can rent gear from the hotel if needed.

The breakfast was delicious. Location is great. The cabins are worth it. You have your own little tiny house with a view and access to all the amenities like the fire pit and jacuzzi.
