Overall, we had a good stay at The Garrison and most aspects of the hotel were positive.
The location is excellent for exploring Fort William, and the main facilities were clean and well presented. Apart from parking, everything else met expectations and the staff were generally helpful.
However, there were a few downsides. The single sofa bed was very uncomfortable and not suitable for a good night’s sleep. Also, there was ongoing construction work which started quite early around 8am — this was a bit disruptive, especially if you had the window open as some dust could come into the room.
Another small inconvenience was the access to reception. Having to go through multiple doors made it feel less straightforward than it should be, especially when arriving with luggage.
Overall, a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved to make the experience much better.

Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay!

Breakfast menu was great, nice spot to eat by the river. The room and areas were all clean, good spaces and quiet. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Croft 4! Josephine was helpful and friendly. The property was cozy, clean, and had every accommodation that we needed for our stay. It was also located in a great place on the island; there were good food options and it was easy to get to the various places we wanted to hike on the island. Thank you for your hospitality!
