Clean room & the had a dehumidifier which was unexpected but great in such a humid spot! Friendly staff, great breakfast options, nice pool with a swim up bar! Went on the howler monkey trail and saw a family of howlers so that’s an added bonus for guests!

My stay at Namu Garden & Spa in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica was absolutely exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located in Puerto Viejo, surrounded by lush tropical nature and just minutes from the vibrant town and the beautiful Caribbean beaches. It offers the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience, making it an ideal place to relax while still being close to everything that makes Puerto Viejo such a special destination. From the very beginning, the hospitality stood out. A special thank you to the reception team, Alexis and Engel, who were always welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. Alexis in particular greeted guests with warmth and positive energy every day, and both he and Engel were always ready to assist with anything needed, making the entire stay smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant service was another highlight of the experience. Miguel, Anastasia, Daniel, and Jaymark provided outstanding service throughout my stay. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently went above and beyond to make every meal enjoyable. Their great attitudes and attention to detail made dining at the restaurant something I looked forward to every day. A big part of what makes this hotel so special is the leadership of Douglas, the manager. His dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the property, and it’s clear he has built a fantastic team that truly cares about the experience they provide. Thank you to everyone at Namu for making this experience great!

I understand that we were staying in the rain forest but there weee a lot of ants in the room, especially in the shower. The food, service pool and hot springs were amazing! I would come back hopefully soon. Btw. Ants gross me out!

This is a great boutique resort ideal for couples. Those with kids may find other places a better fit (El Silencio for example). Intimate room setups with private hot tubs, excellent restaurant with live music during dinner, and a very nice pool setup for relaxing. The beds were super comfy and staff was wonderful. No view of the volcano but there is a sloth that lives up in one of the trees. For those looking for an intimate, relaxing setting, this is a great spot.

Pool was stunning and hospitality was superb.

Staff was helpful and nice, rooms small but clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and location was central for getting around San Jose

This is a top notch property with a top notch staff. From Ariela and Daniella in the front office to the dining team, it was a phenomenal experience. OPacifico Hotel Boutique, Paquera, Costa Rica is a must stay!
