Very nice hotel, clean location is just perfect.

Service was great. They were very response and addressed our concerns. But the property is more 3 stars than 4. We had two small beds together in one room. My wife’s bed was slipping from the end so 20-30 pct was unusable and mattress should be replaced. Bathroom also had duct tape on the ceiling and the shower is barely 2 feet wide. I couldn’t shower without hitting my hand somewhere. Location is great but I wouldn’t stay here again. Would look for an actual 4 star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa del Poeta. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is ideal, a 7-8 minute walk to the royal palace and Cathedral and close to several excellent restaurants. The hotel service is impeccable and we particularly appreciated Jose's restaurant recommendations and his help booking reservations for dinner and a flamenco show. And we enjoyed having a glass of wine and listening to live Spanish guitar in the lovely hotel courtyard after sightseeing all day. We hope to return some day.

Location is the best in the city. Rooms are small but clean. Lower floors are a bit noisy, breakfast was just average but the location beats everything.
