Amazing History | Beautiful Rooms | Delicious Food | Incredibly Personable Staff We absolutely loved this location and would highly recommend staying here—especially when no cruise ships are in port. Shopping and restaurants are just blocks away, along with the (in)famous 99 Steps and Blackbeard's right next door. The views from both the bar and our room were truly breathtaking. While the property still has restoration work ahead, the quality of what has already been completed is outstanding. If they continue on this path, this will undoubtedly become THE hotel to stay at on the island!

Our villa was great with incredible views. Any issues or questions we had were quickly resolved. Would highly recommend Calichi to anyone looking to stay on the quiet side of the island.

I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. The have different options for the lunch/ dinner snacks but again not very family kid friendly so you pay all that money to have a lounge, if you drink you have access to alcohol and regular beverages but for the up charge of the club it wasn't worth it like it was 2 years ago when they had a lot better options. They do offer other restaurants but they are very pricey. Just for one order of chicken strips and fries at 9-10pm was $50 and that was the only option for food at that time of night and $35 of it was to deliver it. Plan on having lots of tipping money because the only way to get good service is to tip the employees for everything and like I said they make the trip worth it. The friendliest people are prince at bell desk, Bertha, Ruth, Catherine and Susie at the club. They are the best.

Beautiful vistas from many of the rooms. Located on a hill like many of the properties on the island. Walking virtually impossible due heavy traffic, inconvenience sidewalks and steep inclines... so a cab or rental car necessary daily. Best for an extended stay.

The property is amazing! A little tough to find from the main road but nonetheless beautiful and peaceful!

Surprised by power outages. TVS did not include guides to determine channels. The restaurant service seemed rather slow.
