We paid extra through Expedia for a “bay view” room, but the view felt misleading: another building was directly across from our window, and the bay was only visible from a very specific spot in the room. The front desk apologized and said the bay view used to be better before the other building was built, but no alternate rooms were available. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we would not pay extra for the bay view again—we would have preferred a standard room with a better city view and to save the added cost. The rooms were impeccably clean with all the amenities of being at home. The kitchen had every utensil you would need to satisfy your hunger. Whether you want to prepare a gourmet meal or late night snack (less food). We particularly loved the comfort of the bedding.The mattress was super comfortable and it was obvious there was little expense spared in choosing the linens. The location was ideal for our trip (Soccer Tournament); it was quiet enough for a relaxing night's sleep but only a shot drive to the Soccer Fields. Additionally, it’s only a short walk to the Riverwalk, Hyde Park Village and lots more! Our complements to Brightwild Team for providing such comfortable and clean accommodations. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a high-quality getaway with a convenient location!? (1,000 reviews) This was my first time on the Gulf side of Florida and in St. Pete's Beach. I decided to stay in this area because I wanted to take day trips and this was the perfect location. Liam and Tanner at the front desk or so kind and helpful. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly! The hotel itself was nice, and my room was very spacious. It even had a old-fashioned fridge and couches in front of the TV that were movie styled. It was a very fun, happy, vibe that was 50s retro inspired.If only the weather was warmer during my visit, I felt like I really could've maximized my time at the hotel. They really made great use of their space with Life-size games, mini golf, and not to mention the beach was just steps away. I will definitely have to come back when the weather is warmer!!
