Tayside Scuba Diving Vacations

We had a lovely stay. Stunning apartment immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Lots of places to eat , and many independent shops to browse. Definitely worth a visit.

Our room was very clean and nice. The staff was friendly. The main restaurant and bar is beautiful but we were very disappointed that it was closed for a private event one of the nights that we stayed there. They had a small bar open for us but it just was not the same. The person attending the bar was not a bartender and had to seek advice at the main bar for assistance. The prices of drinks should reflect the lower quality of ambiance. We would expect coffee and tea to be available complimentary at the cost we were paying for the rooms but you had to buy it at the bar. All in all, for the most part, we really liked this hotel. We just thought it was overpriced for what you got.

Friendly staff but not that well maintained, could do with a bit of a revamp if it’s to deserve its 4 star rating. Perfectly fine for our stay, just needs refreshing.

Room had a great view and had everything you needed for a short stay. Staff were helpful and greta to deal with. Cupboards needed some tightening, oven was noisy and pillows were very flat. Couch more for sitting in, not lounging.

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

Location could not have been better. and the rooms were as expected. Clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Staff greeted us and checked us in as soon as they could. The included breakfasts were very good with a wide choice, and the cooked supplement was also excellent. Did not dine in their dining room, but it looked very nice. Bar was well appointed and staff efficient: we enjoyed a visit there one evening. The location is terrific: you can walk everywhere of interest in the downtown Edinburgh area. Thank you from us both for an amazing experience, and would recommend and come back anytime.
