This was OK for much of our stay but we were unlucky the first night, when people upstairs, including children, were walking and running almost continually until 1am, preventing sleep. But the other nights were not so bad. There is a lot of space, a good kitchen, and a bus stop to central Montreal right outside. And it is in an area with many nice cafes, restaurants, and tiny unique shops. (2,009 reviews) We recently stayed at this hotel and while the property has a cosy atmosphere, our overall experience did not fully meet five-star expectations. One of the highlights was the location, which was excellent and very convenient for our needs. However, the valet service was disappointing. After requesting our vehicle through the app in advance from our room, we waited approximately 25 minutes after arriving downstairs, which felt excessive for a hotel of this caliber. The bedroom experience was also affected by noticeable noise from the elevator, which could be heard throughout the day and night and impacted our comfort. In addition, the room lighting was limited, and the TV remote was not functioning properly. At checkout, the attendant apologized for the delay and offered to waive the valet parking fee. However, valet was already complimentary during our stay, so the gesture did not meaningfully resolve the issue. While the staff were professional, the overall welcome did not feel as attentive as we have experienced at other five-star properties.
