Aruba Romantic Vacations

Liked how it was located between Palm beach and Eagle beach. Walkable each way. Dislikes: Room generally clean but I found an old contact lens on the floor in the bathroom One or the knives had breadcrumbs on it I booked my room to be ocean view and my view was the vacation center; basically resort view. You can only see peeks of the water from the sides. When i spoke with the front desk staff, they explained the entire resort is “ocean-view” and that there was no more availability to switch rooms. Also, the amount of times i was awaken was ridiculous. Once by the housekeeper. Another 3-4 times by the fan light turning on on its own. The AC is cool and all but doesn’t matter how cool you set it, it stayed at 76 even though it runs the whole time. I’ve machine on 3rd floor didn’t work My booking included sparkling wine/champagne but i did not see any of that Overall it’s not horrible. I still liked it but ive seen better. The view is restricted and that killed it for me given it was not that cheap. Positives: Elders friendly Calm Atm machine on site Hammocks all over Pureocean restaurant is nice Staff is nice Location ideal if you want both worlds

Resort is wonderful. Right on the beach close to everything you need and food all good. Only small complaint is the beds are little hard

I didn’t like how I could hear my room neighbor coughing all night, and how loud was the air-circulating exhaust was with no off switch. Besides those two things, the hotel was perfect.

This our third year staying here and we absolutely love it. We actually just arrived back from celebrating our anniversary. We stayed from 9/22-9:26. The servers at the bar are always amazing- Leiddy assisted twice at the pool bar and she’s an absolute angel. We got a cabana for two of the days of our stay. The second day was a little disappointing as we stood on the iguana side. The cabana didn’t seem to be set up with everything in time as we were there a little after 9am as that’s the time we are able to get access into the cabana. The service was slower than usual, we were missing some of the condiments that should have came with the food, cabana was missing rafts. Understandable things happen also. Overall we will continue to stay with renaissance it’s our favorite.
