Indian Island County Park Pet-friendly Vacations

The staff were friendly, but there were a number of issues with the room - one being that the aircon/heating didn’t really work. I booked a corner room with two views and it apparently is a common problem. Eventually we were given a heater. The hotel is really well placed for Central Park (5 min walk) and Time square 10/15 min walk. It’s near several underground stations. The customer facing staff were lovely and helpful - rooms could do with a bit updating but we were very comfortable (ask for a kettle and you’ll get one)

Internet wasn’t that fast. Connecting streaming services to the tv didn’t work (likely user error). Friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located for our weekend stay. Westlight is an incredible rooftop bar. The only complaint is that we could hear ambient music throughout the night from the outdoor speakers and even on the 12th floor we could always hear it. But it didn’t really detract from our stay and we would still return.

Unfortunately minutes after arriving, the bellman that helped us with our luggage was very rude to us because we didn't have cash on us. We would've generously tipped after, once we got cash. His sarcastic and aggressive "THANK YOU" upon our arrival set the tone for our stay and our entire experience upon arrival at "The Plaza". Unlike many other Lucy hotels where we've stayed, other than the lady who checked us in, who we never saw again, the staff was not warm. More so, the opposite. We were barely ever greeted or even acknowledged when entering the hotel. It was super awkward, specially given the price we were paying (we were staying in a sub penthouse suite. It feels like it's a fancy tourist trap, banking on its name, but certainly did not live up to it. We shall not come back.
