(180 reviews) My stay was ok. The rooms were nice but the balcony could use a little more maintenance. The hot tub on the balcony took a long time for the water to fill up and the sound was extremely loud. Check in was a bit challenging. I showed confirmation to the employee of the amount that I was to pay at the property which was $13.26 but instead I was charged $240MX ($13.84 USD). I really wasn't in the mood to address it due to the employee had charged my credit card then canceled after realizing the mistake she made. I gave her some grace but it doesn't take away that I was will overcharged by 58 cent. Next, I get to my room & didn't realize there were no wash clothes in the bathroom. So the next day, I asked one of the cleaning staff members for some wash clothes, however, that was challenging as well due to the language barrier. It was just alot going on but it worked out having to use my translator on my phone. As far as the drinks, those were really good but I have to pass on the food as it wasn't all that great to me. Also, when attempting to get a blue towel for me to go near the pool, the employee acted as if he didn't want to give me a towel due to the wrist band I had on which was for Alititude. I didn't have no issue the previous day getting a towel and I wasn't aware that I needed to go somewhere else to get a towel. I was very frustrated with that and still received the towel.The beach was nice, the entertainment was good and I liked the swings. (1,007 reviews) Here are the bright spots The food was fantastic , certain staff were truly amazing and went above and beyond such as Jorge working poolside , Thomas at the skybar and Mauricio at the Mexican restaurant dockside (along with the manager on duty). The room was clean and comfortable , balcony had a great view of the pool and marina. Now The not so bright spots …. Car alarm going off at 6:00am everyday could be heard like it was in the room. Having to sign a bill for everything you do when it’s all inclusive is odd and I have never seen it in my travels anywhere. The all inclusive title is a little misleading as the staff member who went through things with us in the lobby after check in spent more time explaining what we were not allowed to have and do without paying a premium over and above the package we paid for as an “all inclusive” she also seemed to have found it frustrating when we would not agree to go for a typical timeshare visit to the sister hotel . Even after explaining we had a short window of free time, it seemed like that is all she wanted to discuss, all in all it was a great time, great location with some staff who really set the bar high and should be proud of their efforts, if the resort finds a way to either create a package more reflective of all inclusive or change the name to a meal and beverage plan it would be a little more clear to those coming for the first time. Drop the receipts for everything if you all inclusive.
