To start with, the room was clean and bright. The breakfast was unexpectedly good because they offered a vegan breakfast which aligns with our preferred way of eating. And that they had laundry facilities on the lower level wrapped everything together for a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Charlottetown at The Great George. This is really a unique hotel, and I have never stayed anywhere quite like it. The hotel really compromises a ~block of historic downtown buildings and homes that have all been renovated and converted into modern hotel rooms. It combines the best of all worlds - location right in the middle of everything, historic charm, and modern amenities and I couldn't recommend this hotel more. The parking was free and available, the room large, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. We loved and noticed all the extra's (heated bathroom floor, extra seating, secure entrance, fast and easy internet, large TV with extensive channel collection). The lobby is wonderful and inviting, and although we didn't get to experience the breakfast (too busy in PEI!) it smelled great. Loved the tea and coffee bar, wine gatherings, cookies. I couldn't rent this hotel highly enough and am looking forward to our next visit.

Everything was perfect. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and we had the best views of the ocean! I also appreciated the windows and doors that open to the fresh air, and no carpeting. We had the Tower Suite, and it was well worth the extra money that we paid for it. Also, the the inn is very tastefully decorated. If we are ever back in PEI we would definitely stay there again!
