Beautiful property, wonderful staff, love the place!

Beautiful historic hotel in lower downtown close to some great restaurants, Union Station (delightful book store, ice cream spot, restaurants) and just a short walk past the station to so much more. The Urban Farmer is connected to the main lobby - fantastic food, dessert and staff! We really appreciated the Yeti Water bottles in the room and the water filling station on the floor. No complaints with the property itself but there were a lot of shenanigans that carried on through the weekend nights from very loud club goers and there was a pretty continuous thump of music from the floors and restaurant and outside. We spent a good deal of our time in the afternoon recovering from sleep were did not get the nights before!

Perfect location, amazing amenities, spotless and comfortable. Definitely will be back.

The accommodations and property are well maintained, nice amenities, very quiet. Great pool and hot tubs. Gym was okay, kind of dark and cramped. The steam room/showers need an update/cleaning. The checkout at 10am seemed too early; would have preferred an 11am checkout.

All the staff was friendly and professional. They were very attentive. I think they have some room cleaning staff that slack as far as showing up but the people In charge of check in stayed on top of them. Location is perfect for 10 min walks to a variety of restaurants. Obviously the train station is just outside the door. We will be back for sure!!

I have not stayed at the Brown Palace for probably 15 years. It could be fantastic but there is a LOT of deferred maintenance on the property itself. FURTHER, AND THE BIGGER ISSUE IS THEY CHARGE FOR INTERNET AND HAVE A IDIOTIC "RESORT FEE". It is a hotel, not a resort. Unless you like cigars or will use their spa facility for a steam room while you are there, the resort fee is just robbery. The shower door broke at some point in the past and they replaced it with a cheap, plastic shower curtain and someone tried to regrout the shower when it really needs to be demolished and replaced. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND

No coffee pot, microwave or fridge. The ac/heat didn’t work. We froze. No chair to sit on in the room.
