North Shore Pet-friendly Vacations

The listing on this property was nothing like the actual condo. The place was dirty, there were pieces of a broken light bulb in the bathroom, hair in the corners of the rooms, and a ton of COCKROACHES. No, I’m not talking about the big water bugs, I’m talking small, nasty breeding roaches due to poor cleaning and lack of pest control. They were in the kitchen drawers and would go scurrying the second the lights turned on. The property manager offered me a credit to come back and stay another time but refused a refund. We stayed one night-slept in our clothes with the lights on and never opened our suitcases. They offered to come spray while we were there and clean the rooms, but we were so grossed out, we chose to leave. I find it pretty disappointing comparing the listing to the actual photos I took of the place. The ceilings were cracking, they had “do not open blinds” on the bedroom blinds, and everything was very dated. I will spread the word to every social media outlet not to stay at Granada Del Mar. This place needs to be held accountable for not being honest with their listing photos and keeping someone’s hard earned money.

Flight from Miami was delayed because of thunderstorms, called hotel to let them know, no answer.... Called many times, left messages and phone numbers, no call back, nothing. Finally got to St. Croix and went straight to the hotel, exhausted, ready for shower and bed, long day, got there at 3AM. Nobody around, AT ALL!!!!! Had to sleep in the rental car until 7AM. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Will never go there again and will never, ever recommend. Worst in my entire life and I travel all over.

The resort is nice, however they could use more on-site activities. The food in the restaurant was okay but the food at the pool bar was phenomenal along with the staff. You will need a vehicle if you plan on leaving the resort and be comfortable driving on the left side of the road. All the staff were friendly with three providing exceptional service the bartender in the main lobby who does the mixologist class, the bartender at the pool atec

The room & location was absolutely beautiful… however we notice baby roaches on our second day. The sunset dive bar was never open to get your complementary drink. The location is a a bit far from main attractions. If you walk down the rode there are multiple bars and food 10/10. The food onsite was great too but options are limited. One thing we didn’t understand .. we asked for late check out and was denied stating that they are fully booked but online showed vacancies for the same day . It was confirmed that they had openings once our flight delayed. Definitely a great location if you vacation is about relaxation. So beautiful.
