Such a special hotel. It is a luxury experience from the moment you set foot in the lobby. The building is so beautiful and it has all the special touches a mandarin oriental offers. Special mention and thanks to Richard at the concierge desk for ensuring we have the best experience.

All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the neighbourhood. No elevator but staff took our suitcases both up and down from our 3rd floor room. Great breakfast room with good food and coffee. Would not stay here again because of room size. We had to take turns opening our suitcases because lack of room. For 1 person maybe fine but not suitable for 2 people. Check room size carefully when booking. Overall good experience.

beautiful building in nice neighborhood; easy access to museums and other cultural activities; very impressed with staff who were friendly and went out of their way to make sure your stay is good and comfortable; room was very clean and comfortable.

It was a great hotel .. a must try :) but the communication with the staf was difficult . The check in and out was by phone and as a traveller its not that easy with out wifi .. but other than that the place was great and imaginary :))

Wonderful hotel. Clean, large rooms, extremely helpful and kind staff available 24/7. You couldn't ask for a better location its an easy walk to either Centraal or the Rijksmuseum, wonderful location to stroll from for sightseeing or people watching. I saw that people had complained about noise but we didn't notice an issue and the hotel offered ear plugs in case. The wifi was reasonable and there is a great (but not included) breakfast in the hotel. If we return to amsterdam we will no question be staying here again, seriously could not recommend it enough.
