Lower Island Cove Pet-friendly Vacations

The room was nice and within walking distance of downtown (you need to be able to do hills). Our only serious complaint is the parking. The inn has none, and street parking is complicated. Although the parking rules may be clear to locals, travellers will not know where to find critical information. In our case, we incurred $100 in parking fines in one overnight due to confusing signage and an unmarked street cleaning operation. The property owners posted a small paper notice on the front door, but honestly when you struggling to get your bags in off the street and up the stairs, these things get missed. A better warning system would be useful.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, very good breakfasts. Staff were very professional and friendly. Location excellent- close to downtown. Lovely Victorian-style home.

Such a great at Dvele. The room was perfect and the whole experience was amazing. Will definitely stay there again in the future!

Loved the ambience of the hotel and the musical theme with all the various artists through the decades. Extremely well done!

We’re new to the open door policy where you arrive and the door is unlocked and the key is inside, but it really works well! The unit was spotless when we arrived, wide open and spacious. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the eagles in the sanctuary across the street. Well equipped kitchen and bath plus having the washer and dryer was great as we are a month long road trip. Not a lot of choice for eateries but Foodland is just up the street and has lots of things to make for dinner in the unit. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
