Excellent, walkable location on Ben Franklin Parkway. Aging rooms are being renovated which may result in some dust and debris on your trip from the lobby to your room and undesirable noise from 0800 to ~1700. I stayed in a "renovated" suite - some finishes are updated and some furnishings were replaced, but it feels more perfunctory than functional. In the kitchen: the dishwasher wouldn't open because the oven handle blocks it, the microwave dims all the lights in the room, the fridge door opens into the working space instead of toward the adjacent wall, and the sink disposal has a switch that does not activate the disposal. The main room had a brand new table that was missing two feet and wobbled, the new tv was mounted to a veneer that was clearly not structural and the tv weight was pulling the veneer away from the wall. Some "new" outlets were loose and that movement/ flexibility seemed hazardous. In the bathroom: the layout is tight - given all the space in the suite, conceding some to the shower and toilet would be a smart improvement; more than one of our towels was thread-bare which didn't fit the expectations of 1. a suite or 2. a renovated space. HVAC controls were present, but modification of temperature and mode did not affect the actual performance and we accepted that 63-65 degrees was our only option. Caveat: I'm an attention to detail person; these observations probably won't affect you if you just need a clean place to lay your head for a night or two.

Amazing hotel, clean and beautiful pool. We extended our stay and can't wait to come back.

This facility was under renovation the entire time I was there . A lot of dust at the lobby and next to the restaurant and inside the restaurant by the windows. Restaurant is very very dark during the day and during the night , you can’t even see what you are eating . All the seating area in the lobby have stains and dirty and stained sofas and chairs . The material was disgusting. The breakfast buffet was the same every day and no variety of food .

A few highlights about the property and then specifics, Scale from 1-10 (10 best) Location - 11 (ELEVEN) The best location by far. Room - 7.5 Deluxe King (hardly deluxe) -Small-ish and in need of updating, clogged shower (fixed) and not 100% clean. There was a bottle cap on the floor by the bed when we arrived and still there 2 days later. Someone is not cleaning properly. Door Staff - 3 - I opened the door more than acceptable at a Ritz -Carlton Reception - 8.5 - Friendly except for check out time. Did not even acknowledge us while on their computer. Lobby Bar and Restaurant - 4.5 - Lacks service levels and the Cesar salad was not edible. Time for a new F&B Manager, Chef, and new cuisine concept. Bathroom Commode - You better be small and thin. Just overall not a RITZ CARLTON experience.
