Great property, nice location, short walk to local town with great restaurants, wonderful pool, amazing staff, just very uncomfortable bed 😔

One of the best resorts in Crete. The location and private beach are absolutely stunning. The resort offers excellent facilities, and there’s also plenty to explore in the surrounding area. This was my second stay at Daios Cove, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. I already can’t wait to go back!

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. A very special thank you to Kiki, whose kindness, professionalism, and positive energy stood out every single day. She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. Wasn’t a “beach” hotel as advertised, no beach amenities at all, difficult to even get a sunbed by the pool as everyone reserves them so early despite hotel “policy” not allowing it. Sadly cannot understand how it’s rated so highly.
