The bathtub/jacuzzi was dated and the chairs in the rooms had an odor. The Red Mountain bar and Grill was closed, was advertised on the coupon as open it was closed 5:00 PM on Monday the 6/29/2026.

Mountain View Small room Overpriced

It's a beautiful property in a great location, but, they charge $45 to park overnight. It's the same cost as the public overnight parking, but I would rather have known that in the room price than find out once you get there. There are no alternative parking options for less, so that's fine but it should be in the room rate I think. Also, a nice breakfast is offered but you have to pay extra for that too. That probably makes sense because not everyone eats breakfast, so if you don't eat it, no charge. We have stayed here for many years and they always make you feel very welcome and are very helpful and accommodating and it's a very comfortable and nice property, literally steps from Vail Village and an easy, beautiful walk to the amphitheater. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very nice, with fridge, micro and coffee, plus wine glasses and an opener and you can get late night dessert/cocktails delivered to your room too which is really nice! Highly recommend and will definitely return soon and look forward to it.

In general, our stay was brief, but everything went smoothly despite the reception staff seeming a bit inexperienced. Oh, I can't recall his name, but the Bellboy was truly outstanding. Additionally, there is an unexpected additional fee for parking.

I wanted to personally thank Ingrid and the rest of the staff at Blackstone for an incredible stay on our anniversary and for accommodating us for an extra night when travel plans got moved around due to the flooding. Thank you! We'll never forget this week.

Mountain View Small room Overpriced

If you are staying there to ski, it would be absolutely amazing.

Most (if not all) rooms in this property are individually owned. Our room was different from the room our friends had, but both were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful and gave us several good recommendations about places to eat or things to do. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect to either walk into town or drive out of it to see other major points of interest. Was able to eat, shop, hike, bike etc without any trouble. Staff was very alert to the fact it was Canada Day and that there were things tourists needed to know so not to be inconvenienced and they were on top of it from the jump. Highly recommend

Our stay was comfortable.. The staff are nice and friendly The location is convenient. They providing bus pass. Amenities like sauna and hot tub is the highlight of our trip. We enjoy the dip to relax our muscles after exploring the lakes and canyons. The price is decent , Received my complimentary wine from booking expedia.
