Light meals from the bar is not so tasty. Room is spacious, and bed is comfortable. The “smart” lighting system is very confusing. The shower only has the overhead big shower, not the handheld system, a bit inconvenient but water has good pressure and good temperature control. (457 reviews) My stay was excellent at Palacio. The service there was outstanding. Having a butler help with reservations and bookings was extremely helpful. I would recommend staying here. It’s very walkable to common sights nearby. The cemetery was just a few blocks away. Breakfast was great, and the room size and amenities were top notch. I didn’t realize it at the time early on but a 10% tip is customary. Don’t second guess booking this former palace (yes, it was formerly someone’s home). Tons of history here.
