Listen guys I was having an awful day, I got stuck at the airport, no flights till the next day. So I booked this hotel. I got to the hotel, I explained my situation and man oh man, my mood changed completely. These guys are there to help you out! The service was better than good, It was extraordinary. the guy at the front desk was giving places and bars to go to. Completely changed my view. If I needed anything I didn’t even have to leave the hotel. That says everything about this place. This is the only hotel I’m staying in Houston. Im definitely a customer for life from now on.

Beautiful property would absolutely stay again. Very close to MD anderson which made it perfect for what we needed.

We loved our stay at the George Manor. Our room was very clean and spacious, the property is very well kept and Chef Michael and his wife Rosie are very kind and accommodating. He graciously gave us a tour of the property while sharing its history. The location was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast as well. We highly recommend it!

The entire property was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the FOOD oh my goodness, it was incredible. I only wish the menu had just a bit more of a selection!! I would love to see what else they have to offer. I did notice some dusty areas of the room that look like they just often get overlooked, nothing out of control. I did find a long hair in the bath tub.. but, I know things happen!! Now, there was one thing I had actual issue with, and it was the shower. The rainfall shower head had absolutely no water pressure whatsoever, half of the holes in the shower head were clogged so water really only came out of one section. It was extremely disappointing!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. I also enjoyed the spa and the overall atmosphere of the property. Everything was well maintained, and the service made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

One of the things I found unpleasant was that guests had to use the same elevator as the restaurant kitchen staff. Food carts and kitchen items were frequently transported in the elevator, and when I entered after they had exited, there was often a strong food odor that made the experience uncomfortable. The restaurant staff also seemed poorly trained. Some employees openly asked for tips, which I found unprofessional. In addition, the hotel provided restaurant coupons, but when questions arose, staff claimed that the restaurant was not connected to the hotel. This created confusion and gave the impression of poor communication and training. The bell staff also appeared inconsistent in their professionalism. I often saw one bellman hiding and using his phone, and at times his shoes appeared worn and untidy. These details may seem minor, but they affected the overall impression of the property. I paid between $600 and $800 per night for my stay, and unfortunately, I did not feel that the quality and service justified the price. That said, not all of my experiences were negative. There were several friendly and helpful employees, and in particular, the oldest member of the bell staff was exceptional. He was consistently kind, professional, and welcoming to every guest I observed. His attitude and service stood out and left a very positive impression.
