Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot recommend this Island strongly enough ! ALL the staff were very dedicated and very hard working and so sorry can’t remember everyone’s names but very much felt a warm/friendly/family atmosphere. Shout out to: Monika, Tharaka, Sara, Diva, Donni, manager of waterfront(sorry don’t know name), Shiyaau, Basse, Pradeeb, Shiva, Raazan, Juli, Ahmed, Fraish (sorry if spelt wrong - captain of Komomo) thank you to everyone for a very special holiday

Amazing resort, amazing snorkelling & Pickleball. What dreams are made of An Unforgettable Maldives Escape at Veligandu Veligandu Resort & Spa delivered one of the absolute best holidays we’ve ever had in the Maldives. Having previously visited Dusit Thani, Amilla, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam World, Lily Beach, NH Collection Havodda, and Sun Siyam Olhuveli, we set a high bar. Veligandu easily rates right at the very top of that list alongside Dusit Thani the only two islands out of eight we would ever consider returning to. Our stay in Room 224, a Sunset Overwater Pool Villa, was nothing short of extraordinary. Waking up to those views and spending evenings by the private pool made for a seamless paradise experience. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, the food across all dining outlets was incredible, and every member of the staff went above and beyond. A very special mention goes to Naveen, our host, who looked after us with exceptional care and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. For underwater enthusiasts, this island is phenomenal: Snorkeling: Simply world-class. We saw more marine life and rays here than on any other island, including a rare sighting of a porcupine ray. Scuba Diving: The diving is unbeatable. Madivaru Corner was, without a doubt, the best dive site we have ever done in the Maldives. A standout feature for us was the covered pickleball court. Having protection from the tropical sun meant we could play morning and night every single d

From landing in Male to the last day and leaving Male for Abu Dhabi, everything is coordinated and planned perfectly to allow us as a family to enjoy the Siyam World island. It was a fantastic holiday in paradise.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Our entire experience was beyond compare. We would highly recommend staying here. Loved every minute.
