Wonderful hotel for a cheap price. Breakfast was great and nearly by amenities.

Decent breakfast included, pleasant staff… especially nice bar staff. The only thing is, the standard for cleaning the rooms need to be higher .

Zonar Zagreb is a nice hotel. The concept is definitely eclectic and borders on “weird,” but we’re not ones to judge that, and we actually enjoyed that aspect of the hotel. We also really enjoyed the gym, and the bed was comfortable. That said, there were a few hiccups during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed that the room had only one towel, no bath/shower mat, and there was no conditioner or soap available either in the shower or at the sink. We called reception, and the towel issue was resolved fairly quickly. However, the soap was only provided the following day, despite us arriving around 3 PM, while the conditioner was never provided at all. Another reason we chose this hotel was the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was reserved for a large group from 3 PM to 9 PM on both days of our stay. On top of that, the music from the event continued loudly well beyond those hours. This was disappointing, especially since access to the pool was one of the factors we considered when booking the hotel. The pool water was also extremely cold, as it is not heated, which made it difficult to enjoy even when the pool was available. Overall, we didn't dislike the hotel, particularly the comfortable bed, gym, and unique design, but the room-service oversights and limited pool access significantly affected our experience. As a result, we would hesitate to recommend this hotel. N.B: it is relatively far from Zagreb's historical center but we knew that so that is on us.

Property is in little retro style rooms, quite at night, staff so helpful, last three years visited this location, fully recommended.

This is a five star luxury property! Every detail is on point. Very clean, extra amenities, Our room was large, very clean, deluxe bedding and linens, bathroom was spacious, clean marble floors, shower and separate tub. The restaurant and bar areas were very nice, the food and drinks were great. I would highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay. Nice exercise room and spa. Great location near the train station and walking distance to the old city center, museums and restaurants. We highly recommend the Esplanade Hotel.
