(3 reviews) It was perfect for our extended families needing to stay close to Nadi International Airport (5 min drive) for an early morning flight to Australia or, in our case, a late flight to Canada. Thank you to the hosts for allowing us to check out at 7 pm. Plenty of bedrooms exist for large or multiple families, each with its own ensuite. The communal family area overlooked the pool and views of the Fijian mountains. The pool was super-clean and a suitable temperature for extended swims. The entire estate is behind two security gates, so we felt very safe during the evening. There was also a brand-new supermarket only 3 minutes drive that had everything you need to drinks, snacks and cooking. Our only concerns were that the WiFi was only working in the communal area and that the air-conditioning wasn't turned on before arrival, which required a few hours to cool down each room. The hosts greeted us on arrival and showed us everything we needed. Thanks again for your hospitality. As big American Survivor fans, we chose this considering it's location and proximity to the filming areas but we did not expect this level of service and hospitality by the staff. Rocky and Asa were exceptional and the tours that were offered and included were amazing. My only suggestions for improvement are: the internet access is spotty (we should not be on our phones anyway considering the location) and the "fairwell dinner" should have a second choise of entrae considering not everyone loves lobster (first world issue). We would highly recommend this resort and look forward to coming back soon!!! The island itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly made our holiday special were the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely at home. Our beachfront bure was beautiful, comfortable, and offered picture-perfect views – the ideal place to wake up each morning. The food was fantastic with plenty of fresh, tasty options and great variety throughout our stay. We did have one small issue with the shower being a little slow to drain, but it certainly didn’t detract from what was a wonderful and memorable stay. A very special mention must go to the wonderful team members who made our time unforgettable: Eki, Fresh, Una, and the one and only Queenie. They each brought their own warmth, humour, and genuine kindness, and their positive energy had such a great impact on our holiday. We can’t thank them enough! If you’re looking for an island paradise with great food, beautiful accommodation, and exceptional staff who make you feel like family, Beachcomber Island is the perfect choice.
