(252 reviews) This marvelous stay felt like a quiet sanctuary in the middle of Athens. We were met by lush surroundings, green gardens, and unparalleled luxury in a boutique hotel. The sweeping views of the river and the most magnificent penthouse stay includes dreamy comforts, warm service, great style and a harmonious elegance. The room was spotless and spectacular with high end touches like a wall bar, coffee station, multiple indoor and outdoor seating, luxurious linens and bath products. They even surprised us with a welcome gift. The staff is trained to provide high end customer service by ensuring you have all you need for your welcome, stay and departure. They are passionate in spirit and truly showcase their commitment to an excellent experience. The stay is located in the most exclusive neighborhood so very safe and accessible yet far from the crowds. We chased the best sunsets and linger for sunrises, perched on the top with views of the river banks and the city. The pool is its own kind of quite magic that makes you feel like you stepped into a private greenhouse with blue waters surrounded by trees, flowering plants, outdoor shower and a lounge area. We truly enjoyed the exquisite dining experience for drinks and breakfast in their bistro that felt like we were in a garden party with the most perfect evenings and mornings. It was divine ! Everything we experienced was a collection of unforgettable moments ! And we simply can’t wait to return. Best of both worlds as it doesn’t have many rooms, but has what I think has to be one of the best views from a hotel in the city, while having such a private, personalized experience. Every time we walked in the lobby the staff greeted us warmly and asked us if we needed anything. But the most special part of our trip was having a bottle of wine every night on the rooftop of the hotel. Evi was our server and was the kindest, most hospitable server we may have ever had in our lives. She made us feel so special. We also booked our trip in January so it was a little chilly on the roof, but they brought heaters and blankets! We hope to come back one day! (33 reviews) The breakfast at The Botany is truly exceptional—easily better than most cafés and on par with, if not superior to, many comparable hotels I’ve stayed at. The quality, variety, and execution were outstanding, and it’s clear there’s an exemplary chef behind it. It honestly goes beyond words. Room service was reasonable. One small improvement would be the replenishment of basic amenities such as bottled water, body cream and toothpaste during housekeeping, without needing to request them.
