This property was simply beautiful. Meticulously kept rooms. Staff was excellent. Zero complaints

The resort is situated beach front and the view is beautiful. We were there during slow season so certain things weren't open or limited. The food was great! The Pool was wonderful. Service was a little slow but I think it was from lack of staff since it was slow season. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was perfect our family of 5. 3 adults 2 children. Air conditioning worked great. There was trouble getting into our room when we arrived due to faulty key issues. The resort itself could use some repairs. The pool lights were out, some outdoor lights were out, coffee maker was broken. We advised the front desk but wasn't fixed while we were there. The rug is main living area had huge stain on it and should have been replaced. The wood flooring in the outdoor areas was a little hazardous boards were loose in many areas and my grandson even stepped on a rusted screw that had come out of one (fortunately it didn't cut him). Rooms were cleaned daily. While we enjoyed our stay I can't say for I would stay there again unless some upgrades were done.

I had a very pleasant stay in Ambassador Terrace. I will never forget about it. Deborah, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast upgraded me to a very nice room with magnificent sea view. I was taken care of like part of the family. Deborah is a very warm and nice lady. Also, she took care of my 65 birthday. I strongly encourage people to stay at Ambassador Terrace. Cheers

The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort. Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it. The next day my meeting ran late, and there was the hotel driver still waiting patiently after 45 minutes. Just an incredible group, and management has reason to be proud of their selection of this team and what great efforts they go to for the hotel. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this team, especially those at the Front Desk and with shuttle driver need special recognition. I will definitely be back, and encourage my other business associates to also make this their hotel of choice.
