Absolutely incredible spa. We tacked on an additional two days at the end of our trip because we loved it so much. The spas, pools, hot tubs, steam rooms and rituals are all incredible. The breakfast is amazing and we looked forward to it every morning. Easy bus ride to/from Oslo. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very quiet –- despite being on the second floor overlooking the road and directly across from a construction site. Beds, pillows, and duvets all excellent. There is a coffee service (kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer) in the room. The basement gym is one of the better hotel gyms, with aerobic equipment, weight machines, racks of free weights, and enough floor space for yoga. We did not use the sauna, but saw other guests avail themselves of it (also in the basement). The breakfast buffet was generous; featuring hot (English) and cold (Continental meats and cheeses, and Nordic salmon and herring) options, fruit, yoghurt, fresh bread, coffee, tea, fresh juice, smoothies and more. Fresh pastries are provided late afternoon. The room price also includes a buffet dinner, making this a very homey hotel indeed.

1. We tried beds in 3 different rooms and all were awful. Completely warn out with no support. 2. Asked concierge to recommend a kayak trip but didn't know anything about it. 3. All of the rooms and public spaces needed cleaning and updating. Broken trim on the internal stairs in the lobby. Really shabby. 3. Breakfast was absolutely great!

We had booked a room with bunk beds. Upon arrival these had not been installed. Quickly sorted by staff so nothing major. The building could do with better glazing/soundproofing. I was staying with my kids who found it hard to sleep with the noise of people talking,walking and even coughing in the street outside. Very poor for a Radisson. Location is excellent in-between the palace and fortress. Oslo city centre is on your doorstep. All staff members we interacted with were fantastic. Always friendly, helpful and good ambassadors for the hotel. The room itself has clearly been maintained and prepared to a high standard. A big thank you to the cleaning team for their efforts. Only slight downside is that we could not figure out how or if the aircon was on but it was only 23 degrees outside. That may be a design of Red series hotels.

Had high expectation to visit this place. The service was disappointing at the best. we were left alone on our self with zero help from the staff.. judging from previous review, the same problem still exist. I guess the only improvement they’re trying to do is to reply bad reviews. It’s the same standard answer without actual action to improve their service.

The hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk to the train station and steps away from the Munch museum and the Opera House. The breakfast was outstanding - a fantastic spread. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and although you can open a door (a bit) for some air - if the the temperature outside is 29C its hard to get the room to be less than 26C
