Another disappointment was breakfast on our final day. My husband requested an extra coffee, which was acknowledged but then forgotten as the staff member attended to others. By the time it arrived, we had to leave for our flight. Her attitude also felt cold, which contrasted with the generally excellent service we experienced elsewhere in Japan. Overall, a good hotel, but these service lapses affected our experience. (1,001 reviews) We had a GREAT experience staying at Dotonbori Hotel. We arrived earlier than check in time and the staff got us into our room quickly. The room was small, but we were comfortable with our group of 3 people. It was very clean. The amenities were awesome! There was free soda, ice cream, and massage chair in the lobby every day. There was also hot water and cold water. The location was the best part. Lawson is just a few feet from the hotel entrance. Around the corner, we had Shin Ebisu Bridge and the water.
