I stayed in a single room at the very top as I was only there for one night stopover. It was an excellent and well appointed room - spotless and AC perfect, the bathroom pristine and sound proof I didn’t hear anything at all.

Wonderful, if smallish, room with a very nice bathroom and great design elements. Unfortunately, a plumbing issue arose that rendered the toilet and bathroom unusable, but it fortunately occurred on the day we were to check out and after we’d showered and completed our morning routine. Staff was wonderful, providing a breakfast at no cost to make up for our inconvenience. Location was great (only a couple of blocks from the Moulin Rouge), and it was a short walk to several different Metro stations.

I stayed here with my sister and niece. We were very happy with the location, staff and cleanliness of our room! We would have liked it a tad colder in our room, but we were able to sleep comfortably. I would go back here and recommend to others!

Let me start this review by saying I truly can't speak to the hotel's atmosphere because we never made it there. This review is really more about how the staff handled our situation. Our flight to Paris was canceled due to mechanical issues and we were stranded because they couldn't rebook us on another flight until the following evening. We alerted the hotel of this as soon as we were aware of it and asked about a potential refund or partial credit toward a future stay since it looked like we would not be able to make it in time for our stay. They refused. We then did some thinking and thought "Hey, we might get to Paris in time to check in for an hour or so and at least get a shower in the room we had already paid for" because by that point we had been in airports and on planes for over 24 hours so I messaged the front desk to ask if that would be possible and also if they could provide a late check out. They refused. I was told that they were oversold for the next night and that entry to the room wouldn't be possible even if we got there before the check out time of 12 p.m. Meanwhile, I checked and they had rooms of the same type still available for purchase on expedia so I know that wasn't true. Their staff simply didn't care at all about what we had been through/were still going through. It may be a wonderful hotel but we will never know because we will NEVER stay here. Shame on you Hotel Splendide this is not the service of a relais and chateaux hotel. Buyer Beware.

I recently stayed for 5 days. The highlight was the small, but mighty pool, which made the experience truly enjoyable, especially since Paris was experiencing a heat wave. The staff was excellent in helping with anything that we needed. We spoke very little French, but they understood and gave us information that would help us enjoy our stay as a tourist and keep us safe. Marvelous service!!
