The property is on the hillside giving gorgeous views. I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine. You can't go wrong booking this wonderful property. Ag Nik is a surprisingly lovely town w great restaurants and shops near the lake. Beach near the hotel was perfect. We hope to go back next year! (189 reviews) The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also charged extra and we’re unsure really what that was for. Also we have been twice to this hotel, the first time when booking we had the option available to go all inclusive plus but the second time that option wasn’t available until we arrived at the hotel and it was quite steep compared to the first time we visited the hotel and with not much difference to the basic all inclusive package. After all a gin and tonic is a gin and tonic be that from the local gin or branded big name gin. Overall though, lovely place to stay and the staff are amazing! So helpful and super polite! It’s the perfect place to stay right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charming shops and incredible food. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a lovely private outdoor area with a hot tub, such a relaxing touch. What truly made our experience unforgettable though, were the two concierges, Maria and Vaggelis. They were the most accommodating, kind, and genuinely sincere hotel staff I have ever encountered. Every time my husband and I came downstairs, one of them would greet us with a warm smile and friendly conversation. They recommended the best restaurants in town and made us feel instantly at home. We were only in Chania for three days, but I would have gladly stayed longer just because of them. Thank you, Maria and Vaggelis, for making our honeymoon as magical as it was.
