Good location and staff very helpful but expensive and the cleaner did not show up on the first day of my 2-day stay.

After 12 years of choosing Holiday Inn Express as the safe and reliable choice, this was my last. We spent 5 days at this hotel, for the price of almost $300 a night, I was completely underwhelmed by the basic continental breakfast which was identical for 4 night out of 5. The dining room is tiny and usually full, there is an overflow room with no AC which is also pretty full most of the time. Only single elevator is functioning, and even that one shakes and ruthless as if its about to die any moment. Sometimes it was faster to climb 3 floors by stairs than to wait on the elevator. Our room carpet had stains and the room smelled like pile of stinky socks. The TV had a little printed cheat sheet for channel list but the guide on the TV didnt function, so you can never know what you can watch. And I was abit disgusted to flip channels as the remote buttons had dirt stuck in them. I would expect all that from a $100 a night motel on the side of the road.

This facility is lovely, if a little pricey. It is ideal for a relaxing getaway or special occasion. The view of the lake is great and provides an ideal backdrop. The dome is spacious and has everything you need. A little more countertop and food prep area would have improved the experience. There is a nice bbq on the deck but unfortunately no table so you have to eat inside, which I found sad as it would have been nice to watch the boats on the lake whilst eating dinner. There is a good walking trail right next door to work up an appetite. Overall a pleasant experience for our first time staying in a dome.

Had a wonderful stay at The Lord Nelson. Lovely room, great location to enjoy the park opposite and easy access to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Everything was great until I lifted the sheets for bed and noticed they were all stained it was pretty gross luckily I brought a blanket and slept over the covers
