Iron Island Honeymoon Vacations

Stayed here last night. This is a huge, beautiful historic building. The room we stayed in was updated and bright and very comfortable, huge bathrooms. The butlers were very attentive and friendly bringing ice to our room and giving great directions. Breakfast was delicious, offered choice of sweet or savory breakfast sandwich with salad, or yogurt with fresh berries and granola. Breakfast room was not busy with beautiful surroundings. Lots of restaurants within 5 minute walk, and arena is about 30 min walk or 10+ minutes to take the free streetcar. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms

The bathroom was beautiful, but the shower water was lukewarm at best. The TV was beautiful, but it had no local channels to watch sports or connect to the area. Why do you have to call the front desk to get ice? There was no way to adjust the room temperature; it was set and locked at 71 degrees. The promised "breakfast coupon" I received in a text never materialized at check-in, and the selections for "breakfast" were premade sandwiches with no accommodations for allergies. The Campus is SMOKE FREE. For those who do not smoke, this is not a concern, but there was not even a designated smoking area outside for those who have the choice to do so. This experience was far from luxurious and felt more like a one-size-fits-all. Perhaps this company should stick to fine cuisine and overpriced spa packages for a romantic getaway. For a weary traveler who just wanted to relax after a long week, I will not stay here again.

The parking is very easy and they even have charging stations where you can charge your car overnight.

This is our fifth time staying at Niagara Crossing as our daughter goes to Niagara University. It is the perfect location in a great little town Lewiston with the restaurants and shopping and bakeries. A five minute drive to campus. They have a wonderful breakfast in the morning too.

Rooms were very clean and staff were friendly! Great coffee too!
