Great room, even though the price was a bit high. I asked for a handicap, friendly room. Even though there was an elevator to the third floor, there are still steps involved, which was not easy.

The property itself is nice but the rooms are not; the junior suite I stayed in was dingy with no view which made it feel dark, dreary and dilapidated.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food and choices. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is fairly new with nice beds and modern bathrooms. It is a short walk to Victoria Station and a walkable distance to Westminster Abbey. We found several nice restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store.

Rubens is an excellent high quality hotel, the rooms are clean and a high standard, the location is perfect for the underground and also walking distance to many major shops and attractions. I would highly recommend for a perfect trip to London
