(30 reviews) This was such a pleasant, private, place of tranquility. I have to give you the true points tho. GO TO THE STORE BEFORE GOING FIRST! You are up in hills. There are no restaurants, no Uber eats, no stores, So get your bag of ice, your water and soda, your food and snacks before going there. Once you get there you aren't going to want to leave. I didn't use their kitchen. I just asked for a microwave to be brought to my room. The bed is so so comfy. The pool isn't heated. I would totally recommend this place 100 times over. A huge, huge thank you to the servers and the kitchen staff at the restaurant. I arrived one day and really wanted a veggie roti. They only had chicken and beef on the menu. I asked our server if they had veggie and she said to me "not now but if you want one for dinner I will ask the kitchen to have it ready for you". And they did. And it was delicious! Even better - I didn't finish the full roti as it was massive. The wonderful server said no worries - she packed it for me and said I could bring it to the restaurant at any time and they would reheat it for me. I did this and got two meals for one. I so appreciated this. The only downside was that the bathroom in our room did not have a door. Not a design choice that I like but other than that everything was great. (825 reviews) Overall, our stay at Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort was pleasant, with both positives and a few notable drawbacks. The room itself was clean, and the bed and linens felt fresh and comfortable. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included meals and drinks throughout the day and added good convenience to the stay. The meals were acceptable but not standout, earning about a 6/10 overall. One issue during breakfast was the presence of birds in the dining area due to the open layout and location. Leaving food unattended often resulted in birds attempting to eat it, which felt unhygienic. Birds also perched above the seating area, which was not ideal. Another concern was one evening’s outdoor poolside dinner, where the seating was too close together and poorly lit, making the experience uncomfortable. Regarding the room, there were a couple of issues. On one occasion, a room attendant attempted to enter despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. The sign itself was old and torn, so it’s possible it may have flipped due to wind. Additionally, in the early morning hours around 3 a.m., large numbers of birds in nearby trees created significant noise that carried into the room and disrupted sleep. That said, the staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and helpful, which made a positive difference overall. Despite the few inconveniences, we still found the stay enjoyable and appreciated the hospitality shown by the team.
