It was to bad that we had to leave this hotel with such good service and the breakfast was wonderful. I picked this hotel because it was one of the ones used for the tour and they changed us out! Click tour this was pretty sad. Yet when you advertised this Beautiful Hotel as one of your to stay at.

Spotless large room with a great view. Rooftop bar has great view, but restaurant is expensive and few options.

Not only the OCA Flores hotel was perfectly located on a pedestrian street (cabs are allowed to drive on these street to drop you off) in the middle of Porto, but the staff was wonderful. They offered tons of valuable advices such as things to do (one of our favorite was to walk all the way to the beach town and take the old cable car back), transportation options (the Sao Bento train station is a 10 minutes walk and allows you to reach the main train station), and dinner options. This hotel was the perfect find. It also had a rooftop garden which i assume would be great for a drink in warmer months. The room we had was great (facing the back so no view but very quiet). The only Con i see was the tub in the bathroom. It was very high and slippery which i can see being an issue for older people.

We considered several hotels before making up our minds about the Intercontinental and we are delighted we did! It is an impeccable hotel! The décor makes an immediate statement of quiet grandeur and classic elegance. The lighting is a standout: the cascading chandeliers with their layered black shades and crystal elements, create a striking contrast and the polished marble floors, detailed with intricate geometric inlays, convey craftsmanship and permanence, while the neutral palette—creams, ivories, soft golds, and deep blacks—keeps the space timeless rather than trendy. The service is superb (all of the staff is great, reception, restaurant, concierge, etc). Rooms are very spacious and spotless clean and are provided with toiletries, bathrobes, iron with ironing board, great hair dryer, safe, coffee station, and mini bar! The bathroom is also very spacious and comfortable with separate bathtub and shower areas and a separate area for the toilette and bidet. The decoration of the rooms continue with the same ambiance created in the lobbies. The location is superb! The hotel is in the middle of everything and within a short walk to a lot of the touristic attractions. There is a very nice Italian restaurant called La Ricotta nearby which is definitely worth trying. Would most certainly stay again!

Breakfast was a disappointment though - very limited selection/ coffee was bad- machine working 3 days later- eggs cold- no breakfast meat at all one morning Limited bread and meat and cheese selection. Save your money and eat at one of the wonderful cafes all around .

Gorgeous modern hotel with huge rooms, beautiful spa and great pool. Easy walk or drive to restaurants but a little farther to the river. Highly recommended!!

We recently spent 4 nights at the PortoBay Teatro. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Porto, an easy 10 minute walk from Trinidad metro station and a few minutes from São Bento train station. Check in was easy and the staff polite and informative, our room was very clean with everything you need for a short stay, a comfortable bed, complimentary water daily and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. As with other reviews the bathroom arrangement might not suite everyone’s taste, there is no door separating it from the bedroom area, but there are separate (glass)doors for the toilet and shower. Breakfast was exceptional, the quality of the food excellent with a wide range of cooked and continental choices, cereal and pastries. We didn’t use the onsite restaurant by it seemed to be popular. Overall, a great hotel, we would stay there again if we return to Porto.
