We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Hilton Northolme and absolutely loved our stay. The property is beautiful, the food was awesome. The staff especially Gabriela and Gorbachev made our stay very memorable.

After a few nights at the Four Seasons in Seychelles, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away again, but Jastam House exceeded every expectation! I booked just one night to explore something more private, and ended up discovering a paradise. The property has private access to a stunning beach where you can swim and watch the sunset. Most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen! The garden has the most exotic plants I have ever seen with apparently more species than the botanical garden on the island. The villa blends with colonial charm and modern comfort. From the art collection to the perfectly appointed interiors, every detail feels intentional. The amenities are exceptional, a huge pool, gym, indoor and outdoor lounges, etc.. The chef crafted some of the best meals I’ve had in any country, completely tailored to my taste. The staff remained almost invisible yet their thoughtful touches were everywhere!! What sets this place apart is the feeling it gives you total peace, complete seclusion, and the kind of attention to detail that makes you feel instantly at home. It’s a place I can’t wait to return and this time with friends.

Beautiful peaceful island, good people and nice atmosphere

We really enjoyed our stay at this quite grand colonial style villa. Our room (the master bedroom) was large and airy, nicely furnished with a huge bathroom. The bed was comfy and the walk in wardrobe made keeping things tidy a breeze. We were well looked after by the hosts and their on site assistant, Alam. He was always around to get drinks or beach towels, umbrella's etc and keep the villa clean and tidy. The villa is up a steep access road (which is not uncommon on the island due to the local topography)and about a mile out of Beau Vallon which means a car is pretty much essential to get to the fabulous beaches and local eateries. However, the access road & parking could be considered to be somewhat challenging unless you are a confident driver. We enjoyed the breakfasts which consisted of a platter of varied fresh fruit, eggs of your choice and pancakes obviously prepared with care. Alternative options were offered as well. The hosts also offered a 3 course evening meal option Unfortunately this was not available every for night of our stay. The food was excellent and, although we initially thought it seemed expensive, it turned out to be be good value in comparison with the better local restaurants. We found the Villa a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It's not perfect by any means, but you'd have to be pretty picky to find much to complain about and it was a more personal & comfortable experience than the standard hotel offerings.
