Central Pacific Coast Golf Vacations

It was just myself and my daughter 16 and we really enjoyed our stay. The shuttle picked us up from the airport, the driver was waiting outside with my name on a pretty made sign. The staff was amazing and very attentive. I loved the welcome drink. Breakfast was great! The restaurant had good options to choose from. The property is small, private and safe but it is beautiful! The hotel is like being in the mountains, jungle atmosphere. Theres a spa and the 2 pools were beautiful and shaded. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. I loved the balcony it was very spacious with a nice kitchen area and the view of the pool and beautiful scenery all around. The environment at the hotel was very peaceful, relaxing and true tranquility!!! Everything was within 15 minutes or less meaning the beach, adventure parks, grocery stores, fruit markets, etc. Neofauna Costa Rica Mariposario is on the same road from the hotel about a 10 minute walk or you could use the free bikes provided by the hotel, there is also a little store on the road and there are waterfalls if going right from the hotel and going all the way down past the small bridge and store there is a path, small little hike. Wish we could have stayed longer but it is definitely worth returning!!!

we stayed for 8 nights as a family with small children and had a wonderful time. nice staff, clean space and good food. we would come back.

As overall is a beautiful place. However, the room was very dirty, the curtain doesn't work and was dirty too, also the mattress were in bad condition. They have to improve the customer service too, because some of the employees were making fun of the customer, which is not very professional

I don't even know where to start. This place was PERFECTION! The staff in the entire hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, I feel that they are all our friends now. The food at the restaurant is amazing, people come visit from outside the hotel just to dine at the restaurant. The pools are sooo nice, and that is a highlight for me because my husband hates getting into pools, I literally had never seen him enjoy a pool the was he did in this hotel. We didn't have to share it with other guests when we went in and it just feels very peaceful and the views are breathtaking. The day we checked out I literally thought he would not get out of the pool so we could leave. The servers at the restaurant and pool bar were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them, Abraham, Anthony and Ricardo. The bell guys, the tour guide, our concierge, it just feels like they're all a family. The room was super comfortable and spacious, we had a view even from the shower with a giant window, plus a balcony and a huge rooftop for ourselves. They offer a complimentary tour of the property that is about 6 acres of preserved forest where you can see monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, among many other birds and species.

Beautiful resort, HOWEVER, if you aren't an entomologist you might not like your stay here. The doors don't seal, the windows don't seal, the outdoor shower doesn't seal, and that results in every bug and small animal in your villa. That is unacceptable for a "4 star" resort. While it wasn't the end of the world for us, having a June bug fly in your hair while in bed can be very unnerving or the squawk of a lizard on the ceiling at 3am can be annoying. We're not talking about a little gecko either - a 12" long lizard in the room with us for four days. And don't leave the lights on before you head to dinner, the ceiling will be covered in bugs upon your return. The beautiful infinity pool had lots of small tiles missing. Four star resorts maintain their properties better than this. And there's no TV either. It's nice to watch a little something before bed. A TV was in the three other places we stayed while in CR. Four star resorts have TV's. The staff was great. Oh, and you can't mind steps either. Our villa was down 124 steps from the parking area. That means you're going up 124 steps whenever you leave....don't forget something! So much potential, however they fail in execution.

Great place would stay again

The hotel was very quaint. The staff were super helpful, always helping us with questions. Would definitely recommend. Located right in town, with walking to food, shopping and beach.

We had a great stay at Tango Mar. The owner always greeted us each day to see how we were or how our day was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean.
