First time in Banff and this place exceeded our expectations! Love the way this inn was designed and how centrally located it is to all of downtown shops and restaurants!

Was not the best stay considering the price you pay. Staff do not communicate well with each other, several key things were overlooked/delayed during our stay. Additionally, the road to get to the hotel is horrendous due to the incomplete road construction. Appreciative that the manager was able to look after us after we expressed our feedback, however we would not be recommending this hotel or will be staying again considering the number of alternatives in Banff at much better prices.

We made a last minute decision to stay in Canmore for the night while visiting Calgary. We found this resort condo on Expedia for a reasonable price and booked it. Great communication with the manager and easy check in process. The condo was perfect, very clean with little extras like coffee pods. The beds were super comfortable Location was perfect and was on the trail that takes you into downtown Canmore. Our only regret was that our travel plans only allowed us one night stay We plan to return and will for sure book this in the future

The hotel is very special and the food, facilities, and presentation are 5-star. We purchased GOLD which is a higher cost for room stay providing a more exclusive experience along with access to a private lounge which was excellent, I however do rate the hotel lower because of the porter services. They were not attentive to guests entering. On too many occasions, we were opening the large doors whilst the porters remained inside (keeping warm) failing to attend to door entry for guests. On the final day, I carried 2 large suitcases down several stairs to my vehicle after waiting for the 2 porters at their station who were on their mobile! You don’t expect inattentive staff at an exclusive ‘5-star’ hotel, which was very surprising. The management of Accor Hotels needs to pay closer attention on the importance of service delivery quality that improve the overall experience for guests.

We got 2 rooms both King sized beds; one with jacuzzi and both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Credit to the building for being mostly sound proofed. The front desk staff and doormen/concierge were friendly throughout our stay.. We were there for the casino and prime rib buffet and we enjoyed both. The casino has live table games which makes for a better experience than online tables only, there were many slot machine options; I found a few that I liked and enjoyed my time playing and winning. An entertaining experience in general. We made sure to be hungry when we went to the buffet and enjoyed ourselves at the Mojave with not only a couple of drinks, but the buffet itself, although accessed via the hallway/lobby the food was excellent. The prime rib was a nice medium; It had a decent amount of fat, was seasoned and tasted very good overall. The person cutting the slices was interesting to say the least, chatting up my hubby and snubbing me (still laughing) but that’s beside the point had a good selection of other options like mashed potato and cubed baked bu

Check in was easy, however our room smelled terrible and the bed and pillows smelled of the previous guests. The pillows overwhelming smell of body odor was so bad we had to put them outside during the night. The quilt smelled and the smell was so intense it would wake us up. We were unable to do anything about because we went to bed late that night. They came and did a room “re-cleaning” but I am at this point doubting it was even cleaned the first day. We literally slept in someone else’s sheets. After the cleaning the second day I attempted to use the yoga mat and it had a huge dirty, crusty brown spot on it. Yes, they replaced when I sent a pic but overall they said they could really not do anything for us because we booked through Expedia. Overall, will not return. The staff was responsive, but offering me a 30% discount for my next stay doesn’t compensate for sleeping in someone else’s filth. We had to have them supply a diffuser to get rid of the smell on the room even after their “re-clean”.

Hosts were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Much better than a standard hotel!
