I couldn’t fault the location of this apartment. Straight overlooking the main shopping street. However, the bar in the ground floor was audible, luckily the music was great, but there was a lot of loud groups arriving and leaving. The owners emailed a few days before the trip to say they would leave earplugs in the room. Had I known before I would have booked elsewhere. The apartment generally was a little tired. I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults and a child

It exceeded our expectations and was a home away from home. The efficiency kitchen was equipped with a 2 burner hob, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, kettle and much more. The breakfast was amazing and the contents of the basket changed every day. The location was excellent and the staff was outstanding.

I love the pool. The staff were great. The breakfast included was good.

It was a nice apartment. Area was nice and a 5 minute walk to downtown. Communication with hosy was lacking. I had a few questions before I left for my trip and no one ever responded. They did not mention anything about parking. You have to pay for parking thevwhole time as there is no parking for the building at all, which would have been good to know and was one of my questions before i got there.

Everything was on point and what you would expect.

Excellent Attention and Service! Best location, and the spa was an added bonus! Tides Restaurant, The Rooftop, and The Tides Cafe were all divine! We can’t wait to come back.

Pros: The spa and breakfast was wonderful. The facility was very clean Cons: The beds were hard, especially the pullout couch bed, where you can literally feel the springs beneath. The comforters were tiny - twin sized turned from left to right of bed (instead of top to bottom) to appear as a regular sized comforter. This made it hard for us to sleep as two people were sharing one twin sized comforter in order for our child, on the pull out couch, to have a comforter. The door on one of our rooms (we had two rooms) would not automatically lock when we left the room and would remain ajar. Despite pulling it shut repeatedly, it only finally locked from the outside after we forcefully pulled it and held it.

The whole staff was amazing

The good:Nicely renovated guesthouse, decorated in mid-century style. Good breakfast buffet. The bad: On a gravel road off the main highway. Only pizza available for dinner.

This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back!
