(530 reviews) The towels and wash clothes were cheap and thin. The pillows were flat after one night. The breakfast staff appeared as if they didn’t want to be there. The front desk staff was there, but they weren’t very welcoming. Not that they were rude or mean, just not very welcoming. They don’t provide slippers or robes. The quality of the stay simply doesn’t reflect the costs. The town itself is very picturesque, but I would stay at another property should I decide to return. The best part of the stay was the view from my room. The hotel similar to other ones nearby seem to keep the history of the town intact which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing in the various rooms. (539 reviews) I loved the hotel. Unfortunately, there are no dining or reservation options for paid hotel guests who are not with a large company party. ALL, but one, staff are very kind and do their best to accommodate. We werent permitted to have drinks in the bar, nor sit anywhere outside at night, despite no one sitting there, because we werent with these large parties. They do have luggage service if you call for pickup. The spa was nice (bring your swimsuit as they are not nuse like German Sauna). We spent the majority of our 3 days there, in our room, but it was really beautiful. The HIKE, is better taken up the stairs and not the road. Breakfast was wonderful. I would NOT recommend coming here at anytime in December. Zurich overall is EXTREMELY underwhelming and overpriced. I wouldnt visit again on my own dime.
